Abstract: In this study, we report on an investigation conducted in the context of an intervention within a financial institution concerned with interpersonal relationships in the workplace. We established, as the research and intervention objective, a psychoanalytic study of the collective imaginary of financial sector workers regarding individuals with a psychiatric diagnosis. Thus, we operated from a clinical perspective that produces scientific knowledge aimed at immediately benefiting the participants. This initiative was methodologically organized around conducting a group interview with 29 employees, structured around the use of the Thematic Drawing-and-Story Procedure [D-E (T)] as a mediating and facilitating tool for subjective expression. The participants’ productions enabled the creation/identification of four affective-emotional meaning fields: “Coffee with Milk”, “Wailing Wall”, “Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing”, and “Life Traumas”. The overall picture indicates that the collective considered tends to react to the issue of emotional suffering in an anxious and unsympathetic manner.
