Abstract: This communication aims to present initial theoretical-clinical considerations regarding the imaginary about the future of adolescent girls in situations of family violence. This material is part of a larger research project that seeks to investigate this imaginary in relation to their emotional experience. Methodologically, we conducted psychoanalytically oriented individual psychological sessions with ten adolescent girls from conflictual families, during which we utilized the Thematic Drawing-and-Story Procedure [D-E (T)]. The resulting material was recorded in the form of fictional transferential narratives inspired by the dramas experienced by the participants, which included the drawing-stories. Analyzed through the psychoanalytic method, these narratives enable the interpretative production of three affective-emotional meaning fields related to the imaginary about the future: “Redemption”, “New Family”, and “Social Ascension.” The overall picture indicates the presence of an imaginary in which the hope of escaping violence is placed on the possibility of moving away from harmful habits by the adolescent, forming new family units, and overcoming poverty and the consequent lack of opportunities.
