Some aspects of the investigation of young people’s imaginary about alcoholism, by means of the use of the Telling Stories Procedure, are presented. The youngsters, aged 14 to 16 years, of a public school of the city of S. Paulo, Brazil, were studied. The psychoanalytic study of their verbal and pictorial productions shows two psychological fields: “alcoholism motivated” and “alcoholism related to life events”.
